Our PhD students won several awards at the Statusworkshop of the Kompetenznetz Funktionelle Nanostrukturen.

 <b>Timo Gissibl</b> won the photo contest Images from the nano world with his contribution The Cake is a Lie. The photo Women in Science by <b>Xinghui Yin</b> ranked second. <b>Bernd Metzger</b> won an award for the second-best student talk.
